Subtitles are needed by the vast majority of viewers to watch foreign films and TV programs. Therefore, subtitle translation is very common in daily life. What should we pay attention to in subtitle translation?
首先，掌握演員或旁白說話的節(jié)奏，遇到自然停頓的地方，就要在文稿上分句;
First of all, master the rhythm of the actor or narrator's speech. When you encounter a natural pause, you need to break sentences in the manuscript;
其次，注意文稿的內(nèi)容是否正確，一行字幕應(yīng)該包含一個(gè)完整的意思，每行中文字幕最多只可以有十五個(gè)字，所以字幕翻譯必須簡潔和精到;
Secondly, pay attention to whether the content of the manuscript is correct. A line of subtitles should contain a complete meaning. Each line of Chinese subtitles can only have 15 words at most, so subtitle translation must be concise and precise;
最后，核對翻譯出來的字幕是否正確無誤，必要時(shí)重看影片。
Finally, check whether the translated subtitles are correct, and watch the film again if necessary.
翻譯一部約兩小時(shí)的長片，大約需時(shí)兩至三天，一小時(shí)的劇集則要一至兩天;翻譯紀(jì)錄片的時(shí)間較長，與翻譯一部長片的時(shí)間差不多，這是紀(jì)錄片牽涉大量資料之故;至于半個(gè)小時(shí)的喜劇則因應(yīng)內(nèi)容，需要一天或再多一點(diǎn)的時(shí)間。
It takes about two to three days to translate a two-hour long film and one to two days to translate a one hour drama; it takes a long time to translate a documentary film, which is similar to that of a long film, because a documentary film involves a lot of information; as for a half-hour comedy, it takes a day or more to adapt to the content.
